Kim Wilde in a horror movie
On 10 February the movie ‘She Came from the Woods’ hits the cinemas, and you will be pleased to know that no less than three Kim Wilde songs are featured in it: ‘Kids in America’, ‘Boys’ and ‘Young Heroes’. It is a horror movie, so you will need to have strong nerves to actually see this flick, but even with closed eyes you can enjoy these songs in full cinema sound. Read more on the website.
New tour date in Germany
The ‘Most Wanted Legends Day’ takes place in Kaltenkirchen, near Hamburg, on 16 July 2023. Two legends will be performing on stage: Thomas Anders (formerly from Modern Talking, the duo who gave us hits like ‘Brother Louie’ and ‘You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul’) and Kim Wilde. Surely at least one of the two will catch your attention. This date, and all the other confirmed live dates, can be seen on the kimwilde.com tour dates page.
Marty Wilde interview from Finland
Talking about legends: Wilde Life has unearthed an interview from the Finnish magazine Suosikki from 1983, in which Marty talks about his career. He also added: “I'm also absolutely certain that Kim will be 50 times more important in the rock world than I ever was. I am dumbfounded and in awe of her success.” We love his modesty.
